The NAVER Cultural Foundation is a nonprofit foundation established in 2010 with the aim of supporting creators’ artistic and cultural activities, and spreading cultural content by leveraging NAVER’s online platforms. The foundation introduces users to undiscovered, under-appreciated creators and cultural content with great social significance and value through a digital showcase.
NAVER features local indie artists on On Stage as the only program to archive underground Korean music, hosts various intellectuals to meet the general public on Open Podium: The Ins and Outs of Culture, and promotes the beauty of the Korean language with Project Hangeul. The foundation is taking the initiative in providing diverse cultural experiences to users by supporting creators and promoting non-mainstream cultural content and knowledge.
