NAVER HANDS is an exemplary company established on December 1, 2020
in cooperation with NAVER and its affiliates. We are creating sustainable jobs where individuals with developmental disabilities can enjoy their work with the goal of enabling them to achieve true social independence.
We continuously discover tasks that our employees can perform well, and assign them to proper jobs by identifying their individual aptitudes and tendencies. The employees of NAVER HANDS are responsible for managing facilities and services in our office buildings, such as cafe, plant shop, etc. They are faithfully performing their duties through continuous educational and training opportunities and are fairly rewarded for their efforts.
To ensure stable employment for the socially disadvantaged groups, NAVER provides NAVER HANDS with subsidies for their social independence (subsidy for cultivating their self-sufficiency). NAVER HANDS maintains its qualifications as an independent corporation subsidized by NAVER, allowing its employees to continue working full-time.
NAVER will work together with NAVER HANDS to create a world where individuals with developmental disabilities can get along well with other people as members of our society, both now and in the future.
Our Efforts to
NAVER HANDS currently has over 50 employees with developmental disabilities who are responsible for managing plants and coffee machines/beans, and various tasks at cafe, brand stores, convenience store, and plant shop throughout our office buildings. These individuals are developing their job skills with the help of our customized work manual and dedicated manager system. They are working in an environment where they can work with pleasure for a long time due to our ongoing support for regular one-on-one talks and psychological care.
Dedicated Manager SystemOur dedicated managers conduct on-the-job training for our employees, respond to unexpected situations, and offer support in the form of psychological care.
They stay close to our employees to help them continue to work happily.
Customized Work ManualWe respect our employees’ varying personalities when we design our work processes.
Employees receive repetitive training with work manuals tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities, thereby they are able to perform even complex tasks by themselves.
Psychological Care SupportWe suggest our employees various methods to self-diagnose their state of mind or level of stress, and find relief in a proper way.
In addition, we provide them with our detailed care service to help them maintain psychological stability through regular one-on-one talks.
