NAVER Corp. (Choi Soo-yeon, NAVER CEO, www.navercorp.com) announced that it recorded revenue of KRW 3.2411 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 541.8 billion for the first quarter of 2026.
Driven by solid performance in core business divisions leveraging AI and the accelerated growth of the C2C sector, first-quarter consolidated operating revenue reached KRW 3.2411 trillion, marking a 16.3% increase year-on-year. Accounting for infrastructure investments to secure AI competitiveness, consolidated operating profit rose 7.2% year-on-year to KRW 541.8 billion.

NAVER Platform revenue reached KRW 1.8398 trillion, up 14.7% year-on-year but down 0.6% quarter-on-quarter. Backed by advanced targeting capabilities from solutions like ADVoost, advertising revenue grew 9.3% year-on-year, with AI accounting for over 50% of this growth. Service revenue increased 35.6% year-on-year, driven by a commerce ecosystem that encompasses NAVER Plus Store, NAVER Plus Membership, and N Delivery.
Financial Platform revenue stood at KRW 459.7 billion, up 18.9% year-on-year and 2.5% quarter-on-quarter. Fueled by the growth of Smart Store and the continuous expansion of the external ecosystem, first-quarter Npay payment volume reached KRW 24.2 trillion, a 23.4% year-on-year increase. Moving forward, NAVER plans to extend its online competitive edge into the offline sector. This will be achieved by strengthening the integration between search and booking data from SmartPlace and the order, payment, and loyal customer data accumulated through Npay Connect, the company’s integrated offline terminal.
Led by the rapid growth of the C2C business, the Global Initiatives segment recorded KRW 941.6 billion in revenue, up 18.4% year-on-year and 5.1% quarter-on-quarter. C2C revenue increased 57.7% year-on-year and 22.9% quarter-on-quarter, fueled by the completed integration of Wallapop and the steady growth of Poshmark, KREAM, and SODA. Additionally, the enterprise business grew 18.8% year-on-year, driven by AI and digital twin initiatives alongside the expansion of LINE WORKS.
