NAVER Corporation (CEO Choi Soo-yeon) was honored as one of the “Best Companies” in the 2022 Win-Win Growth Index evaluation, becoming the only internet platform company to win the “Best” rating for seven consecutive years.
The “Win-Win Growth Index” is a quantified indicator of a company’s shared growth activities, calculated annually by combining the “Comprehensive Win-Win Growth Evaluation” by the Win-Win Growth Committee and the “Fair Trade Agreement Implementation Evaluation” by the Fair Trade Commission. This year, a total of 214 companies were evaluated.
This is the 7th consecutive year that NAVER has been named the “Best Company” for the Win-Win Growth Index evaluation. NAVER is also the first and only company to achieve this for seven years in a row. In addition, NAVER has been selected as the industry’s first “Best Honor Company” since 2019.
In this year’s evaluation, NAVER was recognized for its efforts to ensure stable business operations for its trading partners and SMEs through quick settlements and the “Return Relief Care,” offer technical and policy support for the growth and digital transformation of SMEs through “Project Flower,” and expand ESG management by providing education and examination programs to SMEs and smaller partners who find it relatively challenging to introduce ESG initiatives.
In fact, since its inception, NAVER has been contributing to smooth capital flow by settling all dues with its partners in cash within 10 business days. The company also garnered positive feedback for its various win-win growth programs, such as offering preferential loan rates to partners via a joint fund system in association with mainstream banks. NAVER plans to roll out new ESG initiatives tailored to its partner enterprises.
Chae Seon-ju, NAVER’s President of Communications & Social Responsibility, said, “As a leading internet platform company in Korea, we are committed to establishing a voluntary win-win growth culture for various partners and SMEs. NAVER plans to support small and medium-sized partners to adopt ESG principles, ensuring mutual growth with NAVER.”
