NAVER Pay Teams Up with Billboard and Billboard Korea to Advance Fintech-Entertainment Projects
- Following the launch of Billboard Korea in June, various cooperative projects will be pursued including integration of entertainment and payment services

In collaboration with Billboard and Billboard Korea, NAVER Pay is advancing various projects that leverage the synergy between fintech and entertainment services.
NAVER Pay (CEO Park Sang-jin) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Billboard (President Mike Van) and Billboard Korea (CEO Kim Yuna), which aims to boost the synergy between fintech and entertainment services.
Under this agreement, NAVER Pay seeks to undertake several collaborative initiatives that merge its payment services with Billboard Korea’s entertainment services. For instance, it will facilitate the successful launch of Billboard Korea in June and provide simple and secure payment services for music, broadcasting, and performances.
Through this collaboration, the three parties plan to create fair and transparent ticket sales practices while working together to expand the reach of K-pop content globally through Billboard.
NAVER Pay CEO Park Sang-jin stated, “We are delighted to be part of Billboard Korea’s venture into the Korean market, and we will actively seek opportunities to synergize with the diverse entertainment services offered by Billboard and Billboard Korea.”
Billboard President Mike Van and Billboard Korea CEO Kim Yuna also shared their enthusiasm, “The partnership with NAVER Pay will lead to the introduction of various groundbreaking services unique to Billboard in the Korean music industry.”
